Dr. Nguyen earned a doctoral degree in Clinical & School Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Clifford Beers Community Care Center in New Haven, Connecticut. This experience offered specialized training in neurodevelopmental disorders and trauma-informed, anti-racist practices. Dr. Nguyen currently practices as a Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow with a New York Limited Permit under the supervision of Dr. Meghan Fox.
Through a relational and strength-based approach, Dr. Nguyen assists individuals and families in identifying and utilizing their strengths to foster relationships and build community, grow toward personal goals, and cope with life's challenges. It is Dr. Nguyen’s priority to offer empathic and collaborative approaches to meet your specific needs.
Dr. Nguyen has significant experience working with children, families, young adults, and school systems in a range of clinical settings. Specific areas of expertise include Intellectual Disabilities, Autism, ADHD, learning differences, mood-related concerns, and trauma. Dr. Nguyen’s practice is informed by psychological research and clinical training and personalized to each individual’s needs and preferences.
