Psychological Assessments
Psychological assessments are helpful in learning more about yourself or your child, how to utilize personal strengths to achieve your goals, and access needed resources.
Dr. Nguyen conducts comprehensive assessments that integrate objective and subjective information to answer diagnosis questions and develop personalized recommendations. This includes a 90 minute intake evaluation, collateral contacts, psychological testing and assessment procedures, interpretation of scores and data, comprehensive report, and 90 minute feedback session.
Diagnostic Evaluations: Focused on describing developmental, social-emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and/or adaptive characteristics of the individual within their daily lives. Diagnostic evaluations cost $1,300 (plus intake evaluation fee).
Psychoeducational Evaluations: Includes all areas assessed in diagnostic evaluations, along with additional consideration of academic skills and focus on impacts to learning. Psychoeducational evaluations cost $1,800 (plus intake evaluation fee).
Cognitive and Adaptive Functioning Evaluation: This evaluation assesses cognitive and adaptive functioning to provide updated information for eligibility applications. This assessment builds upon the established history of intellectual, developmental, and adaptive diagnoses. Cognitive and adaptive functioning evaluations cost $1,000 (plus intake evaluation fee).
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Assessment Add On: Assessing for ASD requires additional measures to help clarify and understand the presenting symptoms. This includes the use of gold-standard evaluation tools to identify characteristics of ASD in areas of social functioning, communication, and repetitive behaviors. To add ASD testing to an evaluation, there will be an additional fee of $200.
Psychological assessment fees are broken into three payments:
1) The fee for the 90 minute intake evaluation is $150 and is due at the time of service.
2) A scheduling fee of $400 is expected at the time of the first testing appointment.
3) A final payment of the remaining balance is due on the completion and delivery of the report (e.g., feedback session).
Child and Family Therapy
Child and family therapy services focus on supporting youth and their families in strengthening relationships, navigating conflict, and striving toward individualized goals. Dr. Nguyen's approach is rooted in empathy, relationships, and growth. For children, Dr. Nguyen incorporates play-based and parent-focused strategies to support therapeutic goals.
The fee for child or family therapy sessions is $135. This includes one 50 minute therapy session and up to 30 minutes of case management (e.g., collaboration with parents, teachers, outside providers etc. outside of allotted session times, attending IEP/504 meetings) as needed. Additional case management costs $60 per hour.
Individual Therapy & Crisis Intervention
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy services focus on supporting individuals in learning about themselves, managing life's challenges, and striving toward individualized goals. As with children and families, Dr. Nguyen's approach is rooted in empathy, relationships, and growth.
The fee for a 50 minute individual therapy sessions is $100.
Crisis Intervention
The fee for 60 minutes of additional crisis management, outside of scheduled sessions, is the regular rate (e.g., $100 for individual therapy, $135 for child or family therapy) plus $20.
School Consultation
Consultation services are provided to individuals, schools, and organizations within the areas of neurodevelopmental services and supports (e.g., Autism, ADHD, Intellectual Disabilities, neurodiversity, executive functioning strategies), child psychology, parenting skills and support, and/or trauma-informed practices.
